Happy Day!

So this morning I had a phone interview with the internship director at the Navy History and Heritage Command.... the place I really want to be!!!! And after like 10 minutes, I was offered a position with their graphic archives!!!!!!! so YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just like that I know what I'll be doing this spring!

Other than that, this week I filled out my housing questionnaire and my liability/medical forms are in the mail. I still don't know what classes I'm taking but considering I have an internship, I don't really care!!

And now for the fun coincidence of the day:
Today is Veterans Day... or in other parts of the world: Armistice Day. So yes, I had an interview with a branch of the military on the day WWI ended. And seeing as WWI is my favorite 20th Century war, I choose to believe it was a good omen.

In honor of Armistice Day:
"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."

Progress?

So this week not much has happened... but I do have two applications sent in (the Navy Command and Ford's Theater), so that's happy :)
I spoke with my advisor this week and he said the classes I want to take will transfer. I know what code to use to register... in a week and a half.
Mostly this week has consisted of being nervous... but only occasionally. Mostly, I think about next semester when I'm avoiding homework. I have a surprising amount of work to finish before the end of the semester and uncertainty about the spring do not make the best combination.
Hopefully, in the next week or so I will know more... but until then, homework!
